RENTAL PROCESSGET INFORMEDWhat are we talking about when we say rental? Well it's a way we
can save our customers up to 50% OR MORE. Most of us have rented
something (i.e a movie, car, jet, etc.), well this is the just like that. You
first FIND what you can and want to rent , RENT the item , and then USE it to get those
A';s (Everyone knows all the smart customers do their shopping at SBS). Then simply
BRING BACK your rental to the store at 421 E. Grand River in downtown East Lansing. Don';t
forget your other texts, we buy back books everyday. You may be thinking ";Why
Rent?";. Well why give the bookstore your money and hope at the end of the semester
you will get a king's ransom for your books? Renting allows you to save up front
and keep YOUR MONEY in your pocket.FINDLooking for rentals is quick and easy; you can do it online or in the store. Online rentals can be found right along with the rest of your course material. You just go to the textbook ordering page and enter your course information. If your texts are rentable, there will be an option to rent them with the rental price. Pick the rent option and add them to your cart. You can also come down to the store and a friendly and knowledgeable staff member will assist you. RENTOnce you are ready to check out, you will need you to create an account with us. You will need your Student ID# and a valid credit/debit card number for us to have on file. If you do not return the rental we will charge that card the replacement cost.
You will pay the rental fee as indicated in your cart.USERental textbooks can be treated like any other textbook, new or used. They can be returned for a full refund until the textbook
return deadline; new books will need to be in new condition: NO highlighting, writing, etc. However, if you do decide to use the rental throughout the semester, they
can be lightly written or highlighted in like any other textbook. You can use any software or other materials in the text. You
CAN NOT tear out pages, spill drinks on the book, lose the software, or otherwise make the book unsaleable. BRING BACKYou can bring the text back any time before the RENTAL
RETURN DEADLINE. Simply come down to the Student Book Store at 421 E. Grand River with your Student ID and we will remove the text from your account. You will
be given a receipt that is proof that you returned it. It is your
responsibility to retain this proof if the return of the rental is questioned.
